FESTIVAL READY?!: TOP UK FESTIVALS 2015

It's Coachella fever right now, which has kick started the  Festival season. The press filling us with image after image of 'celebs' dancing, taking selfies and various OOTD's but what about the music?!!

I had to Google just now to find out who was headline this year and it is vast! There is actually everyone from AC/DC, to David Guetta! Hoizer, Bad Religion, Azella Banks, Drake, Marina & the Diamonds. Royal Blood, Alabama Shakes, Jack White, Lykki Lye and everyone in between; including DJ's such as Annie Mac and Pete Tong. I have officially put Coachella on my bucket list. Is there a festival as diverse at Coachella?

Anyway, if your like me and already getting the festival blues here is a pick of  some of the best UK festivals this year....

song of the day -

Tings Tings - Hands

the due long awaited album was due for release late this February. But has been leaked online a month in advance.

Jules de Martino of the duo has said: "We should be pissed & outraged but what good would it do? Some selfish idiot who had the music early just couldn't help themselves." He is now calling for the band's record label Columbia to pull the album's release date forwards, saying "come on Columbia, let it go!!!"

the feed back from fans has been good, and they turned to twitter to praise the band for their work.   "Lot's of people getting a listen of our new record... Miraculously?" posted de Martino in response.

punks not dead

Laura Marling has said she wants to make a punk album.

Talking to the Guardian a couple of weeks ago she said "My first love was punk, and my current love is punk, so maybe there's a punk album coming, though I probably wouldn't do it under my name." she went on to say "I'd like to make music for as long as I can; it feels like something I need to do," and "But I would like to do things a bit differently. I think I might be coming into my electric phrase"

A Laura Marling punk album!! anyone excited as me?!!
